Full Membership

• Reflexologists who have successfully completed the CAR accredited Reflexology Practitioner Diploma (Module 2) course or equivalent.

Full Members of the Clinical Association of Reflexologists are entitled to use the designated letters MCAR after their names, which stands for Member of the Clinical Association of Reflexologists.

CAR members are also expected to abide by the CAR’s Code of Practice and Ethics, which ensures that members adhere to and have a common understanding of excellence in professional conduct and practice and so meet and even exceed the expectations of clients.  In line with this, Full Members of CAR are required to undertake CPD as part of their professional practice.  For further details about what CPD is, why it is effective and how to record your CPD points, see our CPD page.

As a member of CAR you will be expected to hold suitable insurance to practice and as such will be eligible to access our block insurance scheme with Balens Ltd.  This comprehensive policy offers our members £3 million professional indemnity cover, including medical malpractice, and public and products liability cover for £46 per year for full and associate members.  For further information please see our insurance page.

Membership Fees:

£45.00 per annum.

A copy of your qualifications must be provided as evidence when you make your application for Full membership.
