The Booth Method of VRT (also known as Vertical Reflex Therapy) is a form of reflexology where the hands or feet are worked in a weight-bearing position for short periods, providing an intensive level of treatment that can aid general well-being, relieve tension in the body and bring about a state of relaxation throughout the body.  VRT is a therapy which can be integrated into a reflexologist’s core practice.

Lynne Booth is offering CAR members the chance to learn this technique by holding an exclusive workshop in Manchester for our members.
The course has the option of spanning two days, with the first day concentrating on the basic core VRT course and day two focusing on VRT hand / endocrine system.

The basic course content is as follows:

• There are practical and theoretical sessions throughout the day where the basic concepts and valuable VRT treatments are learnt
• A full VRT protocol of core techniques will be demonstrated and practised
• You will learn how to select priority reflexes to stimulate in conjunction with Zonal Triggers that are powerful ankle reflexes
• Self-help and Diaphragm Rocking is demonstrated. A comprehensive handout and a dorsal chart are provided
• VRT will be discussed in relation to breathing disorders, joint pain, stress and anxiety
• 20-minute Complete VRT/Reflexology treatment will be taught and experienced.

Delegates will receive a certificate for attending each day and will earn valuable CPD points for your CPD portfolio.
